His Story: Growing up in an abusive household, Fisk eventually killed his alcoholic father one night to prevent further beatings. His mother sent him away to grow up and get an education, but he returned to New York as an adult and began a ruthless and criminal takeover of much of Hell’s Kitchen real estate. He soon ran afoul of the vigilante known as the Devil Of Hell’s Kitchen, who began tracking and taking out Fisk’s operations. During this time, Fisk met and fell in love with art dealer Vanessa Mariana, and revealed his dealings to her. Eventually, he was captured and brought to justice by Daredevil, and sent to prison. However, Fisk quickly took over the Rikers Island jail, able to control prisoners and guards alike—earning the nickname Kingpin. He was instrumental in helping Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, escape from the facility.

Currently, Wilson Fisk is: Imprisoned at Rikers Island.

Where will we see him next? Unknown, though it’s possible he could make an appearance in any of Marvel’s Netflix shows, especially upcoming The Defenders or Daredevil season three.
