His story: The son of one of Hydra’s fiercest leaders, Werner Von Strucker was denied access to the terrorist world of his father, Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker. Instead, he lived the life of carefree playboy Alexander Braun until well after his father’s death, when Hydra agent Grant Ward forcibly recruited him into his scheme to take full control of the scattered organization. On Ward’s orders, Von Strucker was sent to infiltrate the class of Andrew Garner, ex-husband of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Melinda May. When he attempts to kill Garner, however, Von Strucker is shocked to see his prey transform into the Inhuman Lash, who murders all of his soldiers, leaving Von Strucker alive to face Ward’s wrath. Instead, he flees to his father’s old friend, fellow Hydra leader Gideon Malick. But Malick betrays Von Strucker to Ward, who proceeds to torture him until eventually being stopped by May and other agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Von Strucker reveals Lash’s identity; later, his comatose body is revived using a memory-restoring machine, and he gives up some of Malick’s secrets to Phil Coulson and his team.

Played by: Spencer Treat Clark

Currently, Werner Von Strucker is: Dead or in a coma, most likely.

Where will we see him next? Unless Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. starts handing out Life Model Decoys to third-rate, silver-spoon terrorists, we probably won’t.
