In an effort to both serve our readers and help support The A.V. Club, we are going to post daily links to deals and interesting items that we find over on Amazon. If you use these links to click through and buy something—not just the thing you clicked—on Amazon, we will see a portion of that income. You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to, but if you do, know that we appreciate it.
Assassin’s Creed Unity for PlayStation 4 ($9.99, was $19.99)
Dive into revolutionary Paris with this version of Creed, which also lets you play as Arno, “a whole new breed of assassin.”
30-inch electric smoker ($165.87, was $249.99)
Smoked meats are so hot right now, and this smoker has great reviews and ratings. Plus, this is the lowest price it’s ever been listed for on Amazon. There’s no reason not to buy this thing, even if you’re vegetarian.
Mr. Potato Head ($7.99, was $11.99)
Every kid needs to own a Mr. Potato Head.
Coolest Cooler ($204.95, was $399.99)
$200 seems like a lot to pay for a cooler—and it is. The Coolest Cooler, however, is a cut above. It comes complete with its own Bluetooth speaker, ice-crushing blender, USB charger, bottle opener, and LED lid light, and is lined with enough insulation that it can keep ice frozen for five full days. Now that’s a cooler.
Lighting Reaction Reloaded ($26.95)
This four-player game delivers electric shocks to those with the slowest reaction times. It’s a good party attraction, especially if all your friends are masochists.
Rolling Stone ($5 for a one-year subscription, about $.19 an issue)
Say what you will about Rolling Stone’s dad-centric covers and loose handle on indie rock. $5 for a full year of the magazine is still a pretty good deal. Plus, it’s never too early to start Christmas shopping for all your random cousins.
Downton Abbey Christmas ornament ($28.79)
Speaking of the holidays, why not pick this glassy bad boy up for your mom, aunt, or one of your Brit-happy neighbors?
Once Upon A Time playing cards ($5.99, was $9.99)
If you’re a fan of ABC’s fairytale drama, then you might as well splurge on this set of Hook-heavy playing cards, if only to find out who shows up as the Joker.
Cork desk cactus ($12.39)
Sure, you could have a real cactus on your desk at work, but why bother with actual plants when you can just pick up this cork version instead? It even comes with its own push pins, should you not have dozens of your own already.
